Com referência ao trecho da música “Poco”, das artistas Tasha e Tracie, que diz “é o retorno constante dos que estão indo, multiplicando e não morrendo”, a obra traz a visualidade com base na pesquisa de conclusão de curso “Um retorno a Sankofa e os modos de produzir a vida: uma análise afrofuturista sobre não ser”. O trabalho investiga as formações das identidades negras através do discurso colonial, no qual, pessoas negras e racializadas são criadas como “outras/es/os” através de um processo relacional e histórico.
With reference to the song “Poco”, by the artists Tasha and Tracie, which says “it is the constant return of those who are going, multiplying and not dying”, the work brings the visuality based on the research of the course conclusion “A return to Sankofa and the ways of producing life: an afrofuturist analysis about not being”. The work investigates the formations of black identities through colonial discourse, in which black and racialized people are created as “others” through a relational and historical process.
