Com a reabertura do comércio e um retorno da circulação de pessoas após avanço da vacinação contra COVID-19, nos chamou atenção que muitos moradores de rua no Centro do Rio de Janeiro têm pedido água ao invés de dinheiro.
A obra questiona o aterramento da Lagoa do Boqueirão, localizada na região da Lapa na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. O trabalho traz a reflexão de “Como seria se nós estivéssemos aqui convivendo com a Lagoa do Boqueirão? Como seria a Lapa, o Passeio Público, como seria o carioca?”
With the reopening of commerce and a return of the circulation of people after the advance of the vaccination against COVID-19, it has come to our attention that many homeless people in downtown Rio de Janeiro have been asking for water instead of money. The work questions the filling up of the Boqueirão Lagoon, located in the Lapa region in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The work brings the reflection “What would it be like if we were here living with the Boqueirão Lagoon? What would Lapa be like, the Passeio Público, what would the carioca be like?”
